Ticketmaster Sport transform fan experience
Ticketmaster Sport have completely transformed their fan ticketing experience for sports clients and their fans with the launch of a newly redesigned fan ticketing site.
Combining both UX and UI research, design, product and technical teams across Ticketmaster’s International business have developed a fan platform that provides a new standard of sports ecommerce fan experience.
This newly designed front-end not only offers the optimum platform for Ticketmaster Sport clients to showcase their brand through an enhanced more visually engaging user interface, but will offer an even more robust platform to increase conversion with additional improvements deployed across the interactive seating map. Furthermore, the customer flow is now more intuitive and streamlined with a modern, efficient UX and is now more accessible than ever before.
Commenting on this development, Chris Gratton, Chief Operating Officer, Ticketmaster Sport says, “At its heart, the project was implemented to explore ways to improve the fan experience and provide an even better white label fan ticketing solution for our clients. The teams across our business have employed a rigorous process to develop a solution that not only provides a more consistent flow with our partners’ sites but offers the fan a better journey through to purchase and removes friction and ultimately ‘clicks’ to aid conversion. We are delighted to offer this enhanced solution to our clients and their fans and look forward to building upon this in the months to come.”
Ian Murphy, Head of Ticketing & Membership, Tottenham Hotspur FC comments, “We’re pleased to welcome these changes and look forward to the benefits that the new fan experience will inevitably bring for fans . Alongside our co-innovation partnership with Ticketmaster, we’re working with the team at Ticketmaster to explore new ways to drive tech innovation and change not just for our fans but across the industry and this is only just the beginning of what’s to come.”
Greig Stewart, Head of Customer Experience, The Ageas Bowl says, “The redesigned ticketing platform has simplified our purchase journey making it quicker, easier and more satisfying for supporters to book their place at our next event. We are committed to providing the very best experiences both in person and online and our ongoing partnership with Ticketmaster is allowing us to bring to market a range of game-changing innovations.”
Steve Kitcher, Head of Ticketing, RFU comments, “The new e-ticketing site from Ticketmaster has helped the RFU take a huge step forward creating an easier, intuitive and more efficient journey for our customers. During recent on sales, we were delighted with how the rugby family responded to this. England Rugby Internationals have a complex distribution method with lots of our stakeholders having sizeable allocations. However, this new experience combined with overall improvements in the site’s performance means we are able to offer a platform that is now more resilient and capable of meeting our requirements than ever before.”
