Half back Kevin Brown to miss entire Super League season
The Warrington Wolves vice-captain has ruptured his Achilles in a training session and will miss the whole of the season.
The former England players scan revealed the extent of the injury.
The Wolves suggest the recovery and rehabilitation will last approximately nine months, ruling Brown out.
The former Vikings star has spent the last two seasons as the Warrington half back.
Brown has spent two campaigns with Warrington after signing from Widnes.
The injury is a cruel blow for Brown, who was resigned to playing his final season in Warrington colours, ahead of current England international Gareth Widdop's arrivalon a three-year contract from 2020.
