Ex Saints speed merchant offered trial at Salford

Wellington has already started to train with the Red Devils and is expected to play a part in a trial game on Saturday against Swinton Lions.

The Centre had previously played Rugby Union playing for Welsh side Dragons.

However he only managed to feature in 2 games during his tenure at the pro 14 club.

Magic Weekend 2017 was his solitary appearance for St Helens in a losing effort against Huddersfield.

He is now aiming to make a run back in the Super League after being gifted an opportunity in 2019 with Salford Red Devils.
