Super League deliver on new partnership
The Super League have agreed a partnership with pizza delivery chain Papa John’s as a sponsor for the 2020 season.
The deal will see the Papa John’s logo displayed on perimeter advertising at Super League games, granting it exposure during broadcasts of the games which are currently being played behind-closed-doors.
They will also be featured across the league’s digital channels during match highlights of every game in the league.
The deal will also see Papa John’s provide post-match food to the players of each club.
Super League’s chief commercial officer, Rhodri Jones, said: “It’s great to be partnering with Papa John’s during the behind closed doors period, and it’s important to be able to provide our players with the chance to refuel after a tough game.”
The 2020 Super League season restarted on August 2 after it was suspended in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
